Vince Cable MP meeting pupils at Teddington Tesco MetroVince Cable, MP for Twickenham met with local pupils at the Teddington Tesco Metro on Friday to share in the success of this year's Vouchers for Schools and Clubs scheme.

The nationwide scheme, this year celebrating its 21st anniversary, enables UK schools and clubs to redeem vouchers from Tesco purchases for all sorts of amazing products from iMacs to drum kits and garden tools to tennis rackets.

Collis Primary School, Stanley Primary School and St James's Primary School have received over £1480 worth of equipment thanks to Tesco customers in the local area, and will be presented with an additional gift from MP Vince Cable.

Dr Cable said, "I have been supporting the schemes for the over last 10 years and it remains to be a very popular initiative benefiting many local schools. This has helped them stock up on high quality equipment thanks to the support of parents and the community who have kindly donated the vouchers they have collected."
