Vincent Cable MP with students from Hampton Community College

Vincent Cable, MP, was cross-questioned by Year 10 pupils at Hampton Community College as part of their GCSE citizenship course.

He explained what the job of being an MP involved and then answered questions that ranged form the war in Iraq to the legalisation of cannabis and the future of the Royal family.

He said afterwards: "this was a lively group who gave the lie to the assumption that young people are uninterested in politics".
