Locals Urged to Vote for Orleans Gallery

12.13.06pm BST (GMT +0100) Wed 20th May 2009

Orleans Gallery in Twickenham has been shortlisted for a major prize - the Art Fund Prize - and local people are urged to vote for them in the competition in the next few weeks on the website - www.artfundprize.org.uk.

Vincent Cable MP said: "Orleans Gallery has become a very popular local gallery, especially with the expansion of the stables. There is still a lot of untapped potential with a large collection of important and still undisplayed in the basement. If the Gallery wins the competition, it will help bring both money and prestige to Twickenham."
